Chrisma-Hanu-Kwanza-Rama-Krishna
As many of you know I’m both and artist on End Up Records and a band member of the fantastic folk collective band Balthrop, Alabama, where I am known by my town name Cotton Tyler Guin.
Together we made a holiday album, A Very Balthrop Christmas, which is a collection of brand new holiday classics with your friends and neighbors from Balthrop, Alabama and End Up Records. The New Yorker wrote about it and features the song I wrote - “Chrisma-Hanu-Kwanza-Rama-Krishna.“
It’s on sale now! All proceeds go to benefit End Up Records, a fantastic Brooklyn-based, not-for-profit music label/collective.

The First Song off of “The Wheel”
This is exciting - the first track off the new record, “Hold Me Back”. It’s a song that means a lot to me, and I’ve a great bunch of players on it - friends play on it: Bill Malchow, Brad Gunyon, Kyle Fischer.

Talkin Personals
I wrote this song during a particularly turbulent phase of my romantic life. It is one small offering I make to the universe, with the hope that somewhere, on some distant planet perhaps, it consoles a fellow traveler.
Recorded by Jesse McGrath. Thanks Jesse! Check out his band Karwreck!
